  • Purpose Of The Job

    The Business System Analyst supports the information & process analysis needs of our ecommerce platform. This role will be required to review, analyze and evaluate e-Commerce business systems and provide efficient solutions for business objectives and user needs, especially for marketing team. This includes working with stakeholders, analyzing system problems, creating systems solutions, writing specifications and conducting quality assurance testing in order to implement requirements.

    Responsibilities/Duties

    • Review, analyze, and evaluate e-Commerce marketing related applications in an effort to align technology solutions with business initiatives
    • Communicate with users, collect requests and interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements
    • Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
    • Identify areas of improvements and program enhancements and modifications
    • Investigate and correct program related problems
    • Identify, communicate, and manage risks associated with projects
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes

    • Bachelor degree in related area
    • 2-4 years of work experience in the field or related area
    • Knowledge of e-Commerce business practices
    • Experience supporting full software development lifecycle (including understanding business processes, gathering user requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and training)
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, creative and dynamic work environment
    • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to meet project deadlines
    • Process oriented and problem solving individual who can define and implement changes
    • Must have excellent interpersonal and outstanding communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, SEM, SEO, or any ecommerce marketing vehicles is a plus.

    Essential Mental and Physical Functions

    Mental Functions:
    Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to supervisor's guidelines.

    Physical Functions:
    Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant working on a computer.

    Equipment Used

    Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software.

    Work Environment

    Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    None.

    Language Skills

    Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English
