  • Purpose Of The Job

    To ensure the highest level of quality prior to resale, by following the seven-point testing regiment in order to retain full efficiency on short life cycle products and loss prevention.


    • Test and prepare for resale/ DIT notebooks / computers and tablets.
    • Check unit specifications.
    • In-house transfer of items to other departments.
    • Repack recertified notebooks/computers/tablets.
    • Installation and test of software.
    • Restore operating systems to factory settings.
    • Verify and trouble shoot problem items.
    • Test Receivers.
    • Disassemble and reassemble desktop computers.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes

    • High School or GED required.
    • Warehouse experience.
    • Reverse Logistics experience a plus.
    • QA/QC inspection experiences a plus.
    • Problem and trouble shooting skills.
    • A+ certification a plus but not required.

    Essential Mental and Physical Functions

    Decisions generally affect own job or specific functional area. This position is assigned duties according to specified procedures and work is checked frequently.
    Constant standing, lifting, bending, or stooping 100% of the time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Equipment Used

    Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software. Testing hardware and software.
    Wired rack cart, pallet jack, forklift, and conveyor machinery.

    Work Environment

    The working conditions can be hot and humid or cold temperature due to warehouse environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

    Supervisory Responsibilities


    Language Skills

    Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
