  • Purpose Of The Job

    To provide administrative and Helpdesk support for the GA department.


    • Manage and coordinate business travel requests assigned.
    • Process internal purchase requests to help facilitate order routing, reshipment, and returns.
    • Assist internal Helpdesk to provide assistance by coordinating requests submitted to appropriate department, team or vendors, when necessary.
    • Submit purchase request that are approved by department head.
    • Under certain circumstances GA assistant will perform price comparison from various sources to obtain competitive pricing. Such as office, janitorial, and warehouse supplies, Hotels, Rental car needed.
    • Establish corporate accounts with vendor when necessary.
    • Assist in coordinating between 3rd party service vendors to ensure quality of service and work performance.
    • Consolidate routine monthly purchases among all locations in California.
    • Satisfy internal purchase requests, travel arrangement with timely, efficient, accurate, and effective manner.
    • Assist department document filing and finance statement verification.
    • Provide support to absent employees within the department.
    • Perform tasks assigned by department manager and department supervisor.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes

    • AA Degree required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • 1 year previous office administrative experience.
    • Organized and detail-oriented.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Team player, being able to perform under stress.

    Essential Mental and Physical Functions

    Mental Functions:

    Decisions generally affect own job or specific functional area. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to supervisor's guidelines.

    Physical Functions:

    Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant working on a computer.

    Equipment Used

    Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software.

    Work Environment

    Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.

    Supervisory Responsibilities


    Language Skills

    Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English. Ability to speak, read, write Mandarin is a strong plus.

    Travel Requirements

    Travel is not required.
