To be responsible for managing 3PL operations, including receiving, inventory and shipping areas.
Hire, train, develop, manage and direct the daily activities of 3PL associates.
Direct and execute all aspects of computerized and manual inventory control system.
Compile and analyze warehouse data in order to prepare and deliver metric reports.
Track and provide daily and other periodical reports on inventory and operations.
Provide operational support and communication to 3PL clients.
Communicate with carriers to schedule and arrange the shipments.
Manage escalated issues and concerns beyond the ability of the Warehouse worker.
Ensure proper completion and accuracy of all forms within internal databases.
Manage safe operation of material handling equipment.
Conduct performance evaluations of warehouse personnel and make recommendations for hiring, firing, disciplining and training.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes
High School or GED required.
Forklift certification a plus
Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
Familiar with problem solving techniques and capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Must be able to perform basic math; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Effective leadership skills.
Understanding of customer needs and requirements and proven ability to develop creative solutions.
Basic knowledge of generic stock replenishment and monthly inventory reporting.
In depth knowledge of current industry warehouse functions and practices.
Proven problem solving skills with attention to detail and follow-up.
Able to operate powered material handling equipment.
Basic computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook.
Strong analytic skill and presentation skills.
Highly organized with the ability to pay attention to detail.
Superior communication and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in 3PL environment highly preferred

This position establishes procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives in a broad area of work. Only the final results of work done are typically reviewed.
Constant working on a computer. Walking, stooping, standing, stretching, bending, lifting and sitting for long periods of time. Ability to work under extreme environments such as high heat and cold weather. Requires minimum lifting ability of 40 pounds; may require heavy lifting of 50+ pounds with assistance of team members and/or equipment.
Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software.
Job will be performed in a warehouse environment that may be noisy, dirty, hot and/or cold.
Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
Up to 5% national, the person must be able to travel within the US.
