  • Purpose Of The Job

    To assist in the international operations of e-commerce within cross border and foreign countries into which Newegg is expanding.


    • Supervise import/export process.
    • Contact Air/Ocean freight forwarding and offshore carriers.
    • Monitor carrier & relations and performance.
    • Maintain carrier metrics and reports.
    • Carrier rate and invoice reviews.
    • Supervisor of carrier spend & freight allocations.
    • Responsible for claim filing, tracking, and collections of claim revenue.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes

    • High School Degree or GED.
    • State driver’s license and auto insurance.
    • Must be able to obtain passport and visa documents as applicable.
    • 2 years of international freight forward experience specializing in exports required.
    • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Must have good organization skills.

    Essential Mental and Physical Functions

    Mental Functions:
    This position has the authority to make decisions generally affect area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This job performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to supervisor’s guidelines.

    Physical Functions:
    Sitting required required 80% of the time. Walking and standing required 10% of the time. No heavy lifting required.

    Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software.

    Work Environment

    Cubicle office environment.
