  • Purpose Of The Job

    To facilitate online and offline marketing strategy and initiatives to support the goals of the merchandising and marketing groups.

    Responsibilities/Duties


    • Work closely with product management and other functional units to plan, develop and implement marketing activities

    • Assist in planning and improving marketing initiatives such as email and digital marketing, and other nation-wide campaigns

    • Collaborate with sales executives to develop and expand Newegg B2B footprint in Canada

    • Collect and analyze campaign data, identify actionable opportunities and best practices to improve campaign performance.

    • Help formulate strategies and action plan for increasing traffic and conversion, and other marketing related KPIs.

    • Deliver weekly, monthly, and additional ad-hoc reports as requested. Reports are often done in Excel and Powerpoint. 

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes


    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Merchandising or 2 years equivalent experience.

    • Excellent written & verbal skills.

    • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task; must be able to meet project deadlines.

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Knowledge in ecommerce and digital marketing considered an asset

    • Experience in Affiliate Marketing, Google Adwords and Email Marketing is a plus

    • Retail and/or online shopping experience is preferred.

    • Must have passion for Marketing and an understanding of consumer behavior.

    • Effective communicator at all levels.

    • Must be pro-active and enjoy problem solving

    • Ability to meet management expectations for requested tasks or projects.

    Essential Mental and Physical Functions

    Mental Functions:
    May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position develops procedures for performance of a variety of duties or performs complex duties within established policy guidelines.

    Physical Functions:
    Sitting required 80% of the time. Walking and standing required 10% of the time. No heavy lifting required.

    Equipment Used

    Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.

    Work Environment

    Cubicle office environment.
