  • Purpose Of The Job

    Works with PA Manager to provide support and guidance to PA team for Newegg’s inventory management and vendor relationships.


    • Verify Newegg’s strategy buying requests (SBRF) by analyzing inventory levels and position, landed cost, and SKU performance to determine inventory liability and an exit strategy for unproductive inventory
    • Assist PA Manager with Purchase Administration (PA) projects, be responsible for data analysis, cross-function communication, PA guideline design and employees training aimed towards improving the overall effectiveness of Newegg supply chain
    • Partner with Operation team, including Order Process Center (OPC), Reserve Logistic Center (RLC) and Transportation teams, provide resolution plan for operation troubles shooting related with PM team
    • Gather and analyze supply chain information to better improve inventory balance ratio to improve customer experience and shipping cost saving.
    • Monitor, analyze and own key performance indicators such as inventory ratios (turnover analysis, inventory to sales, inventory turnover), procurement lead time (PLT), fill rate, forecast accuracy and turns (IS ratio) to direct managers and supervisors daily inventory replenishments.
    • Assist PA Manager to provide training to China APM team members, track job performance, and monitoring results.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes

    • Bachelor’s degree in business-related degree or 4 years of related work experience
    • 4 year of work experience in procurement and/or supply chain
    • Attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of the principles and practices in purchasing
    • Knowledge of small parcel, LTL, FTL delivery
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Advanced Excel skills

    Essential Mental and Physical Functions

    Mental Functions:
    Decisions generally affect own job or specific functional area. This position performs a variety of
    routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to supervisor's guidelines.

    Physical Functions:
    Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No
    heavy lifting required. Constant working on a computer.

    Equipment Used

    Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software.

    Work Environment

    Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.

    Supervisory Responsibilities


    Language Skills

    Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English. Additional languages a plus.
