To conceptualize and execute Web Graphic Design layouts for Newegg Promotional campaigns on the home page from beginning to end.
Conceptualize and execute design layouts for promotional campaigns or landing pages.
Code and maintain web landing pages using the required software.
Design and produce banners using Photoshop.
Understand, identify, and correct cross-browser display issues on multiple platforms with every project.
Train and guide others in the performance of their assigned design projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes
AA degree in Design or related field of study.
Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field of study preferred.
2+ years of commercial web design experience.
Knowledge of marketing and technical writing.
Understanding of typography and its application in web design.
Comprehensive knowledge of current Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) and HTML.
Ability to handle code HTML and CSS.
Identify and correct cross-browser display issues such as IE8, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.
Ability to work within our existing brand guidelines to design and execute promotions.
Must be artistic, creative, and imaginative.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Able to multitask and be detail-oriented.
Able to work individually and as part of a team.
Essential Mental and Physical Functions
Mental Functions: Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position establishes procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives in a broad area of work. Only the final results of work done are typically reviewed.
Physical Functions: Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively. No heavy lifting required. Constant working on a computer.
Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.
Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.
Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
