The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the offline sales team and generating new business opportunities, drive profitable growth plan, market strategy, and be a key leadership role in the execution of sales team performance improvement.
Provide leadership within the sales function including day to day operations of the sales team and across all NeweggBusiness functions.
Oversee and develop a highly efficient sales organization including recruitment and development of the team.
Identify and report business opportunities in target markets, implement and maximize new business developments.
Develop relationships with prospects, clients, and Account Executives (AE’s) while developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong relationships with manufacturers, Partners, and distributors.
Drive knowledge of NeweggBusiness practices, products, and services to facilitate successful sales efforts while driving the continuous improvement of all sales tools required by the team to be efficient and to better serve our customers and vendors partners.
Oversee key account development while maintaining and sustaining successful long-term relationships with the key decision makers of our customers
Develop strategy, tactics, sales plans, revenue, and margin targets along with staying in tune with market and competitor information.
Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
5-10 years of Sales Team Management in the e-commerce industry of selling IT products and solutions to businesses, government agencies and educational institutions.
Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.
Cubicle office environment with limited exposure to elements or health hazards.
Will supervise up to 20 direct reports.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
Occasional (10%) travel is required for company approved events. May be traveling by plane or car and may also require overnight stays.
