Manage accounts and a sales team focusing on current customers and driving the growth of the business in the public sector.
Define and design the customer designation process. Develop and create sales pipeline, reporting, forecast, budgets and promotions targeted each customer segment.
Define and develop the ‘service plan’ and ‘sales process’ tailored to each customer segment that effectively grow the frequency and the volume of purchases
Establish sales objectives by reviewing historical data and forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
Work closely with marketing, Product Management, Merchandising, and Finance teams; regularly communicate findings and analysis efficiently and effectively to cross functional teams.
Direct activities and manage the account management/sales team who are responsible for supporting and executing the sales strategies, and the growth plans for new, existing and lapsed customers in order to achieve the sales and margin goals.
Establish and implement short-and-long-range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures to develop new customers, and maintaining relationships with current customers.
Provide leadership and direction in the development of the sales compensation and reward structure.
Identify and implement tools, systems, relationships, etc. required to perform the functions above.

Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Business Administration/Marketing related field.
8-10 years in sales management in eCommerce, IT-related service industry or B2B sales.
Have prior, recent and relevant experience selling IT products.
Min 2 years of experience in strategic planning and execution.
Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance.
Experience selling IT hardware and Software is highly desired.
Basic knowledge of contracting and negotiating.
Basic knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and gross profit/revenue expectations.
Must possess strong leadership skills in teamwork and communication across multiple organizations.
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate team members to produce results within tight timeframes.
Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate between clients and MD internal teams.
Essential Mental and Physical Functions
The position will require negotiations of varying degrees of complexity with customers and others. These negotiations occur on a very frequent basis with many being worked at a time. This requires a high level of discretion and independent judgment with the potential of significant financial impact. This position is variable in nature, responsible for multiple goals and objectives around sales, margin, customer acquisition, penetration and reactivation. It requires the management of customers, peers and subordinates all of which are unique with unique needs and contribution to the overall success of the department. Sitting required 80% of the time. Walking and standing required 10% of the time. No heavy lifting required.

Occasional (10%) travel is required for company approved events. Maybe by plan, or car; and maybe for 1 day or requires overnights stay.
