Purpose Of The Job

Responsible for managing the purchasing processes for the assigned category in order to optimize sales and margin goals by managing contracts, category product planning and execution, and inventory management (including RMA and virtual fulfillment inventory management).

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Prepare regular purchase orders to replenish inventory stock as per requirement.
  • Submit special purchase orders to PMCC for approval.
  • Inventory to sale management, out of stock items, cold items, and properly balanced inventories.
  • Oversee and manage inbound flow: PO tracking/adjustment, stock receiving active, resolve operation discrepancies.
  • Oversee and manage outbound flow: in stock return, product defects, outstanding RMA, inventory write-off reduction.
  • Create new product, maintain product description and rich contents.
  • Manage vendor agreements and collaborate with legal team for final approval.

Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes

  • Bachelor degree in related field
  • 2 years of work experience in procurement and/or supply chain.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices in purchasing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills.
  • Must be self-directed, faster learner and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment.
  • Ability to professionally communicate with co-workers, all levels of management and external clients.
  • Strong reasoning and decision making skills with the ability to deal with multiple issues and details at once.
  • Extensive work at computer.

Essential Mental and Physical Functions

Mental Functions:
Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and
operational decisions that affect the department. This position develops procedures for
performance of a variety of duties or performs complex duties within established policy
guidelines.
Physical Functions:
Sitting required 90% of the time. Walking and standing required 5% of the time respectively.
No heavy lifting required. Constant working on a computer.

Equipment Used

Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software.

Work Environment

Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Language Skills

Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.

Travel Requirements

Travel is not required.
