Purpose Of The Job

To lead assigned category in order to optimize sales and margin goals by defining and establishing pricing, category product planning and execution, inventory management and executing market strategies for new products.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Keep abreast of market trends and identify new product opportunities that reflect customer demands, needs and opportunities as well as competitors' pricing and products to provide expertise on marketing products to achieve targets
  • Coordinate with marketing team for new products development and successful new product launch.
  • Analyze category sales data and provides category sales forecasts, and take corrective actions accordingly to attain sales revenue & gross margin goal.
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and messaging and audience identification
  • Work closely with cross-functional PM team, Marketing team, and Merchandising team to develop and ensure successful marketing campaign on e-commerce websites and other sales channels.
  • Responsible for project deliverables, with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency.
  • Recognizes and articulates complex problems related to the project / segment of the project or function. Applies creativity and judgment in development of multiple solutions related to project objectives utilizing recognized project management techniques.

Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related majors or 2 - 3 years working experience in Marketing related field.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Windows OS and office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Negotiating (oral communication skill) & Marketing abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task with highly-organized.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Be able to work under pressure and excel at managing timelines.
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Must be able to think quickly to resolve various issues.
  • Good written and oral communication skills and strong technical writing skills.

Mental Functions:
Decisions have major implications on management and operations of an area within a department. Job may contribute to important strategy, operational, and business decisions that affect the department. This position receives guidance in terms of broad goals and objectives and is responsible for establishing the methods to attain them. This position is highly-varied, complex, and often non-recurring. It may require novel and creative approaches to resolution. New concepts and approaches may have to be developed.

Physical Functions:
Sitting required 80% of the time. Walking, lifting, and standing required 15% of the time. No heavy lifting required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage 2-4 employees directly.
